Energy Services provided turnkey installation of a cogeneration power plant for a consumer products manufacturing company in Mehoopany, Pennsylvania. The 64-megawatt unit, sited within the paper plant, consists of a Rolls-Royce Trent 60 (SGT-65) gas turbine running on available natural gas. The power plant energizes the entire manufacturing facility. Benefits of the project include electric power for on-site use; process steam and hot air for the paper plant; and selling excess power to the grid.
