Fast Turnkey Deployment in Mexico
Fast-track Turnkey Deployment in Algeria
In 2015, the Algerian city of M’Sila, a metropolis of more than a million people, experienced a series of crippling power shortages and rolling blackouts when two of its main electricity generating plants shut down. Sonelgaz, the government-owned power company in Algeria, needed help restoring the M’Sila grid to full capacity. Energy Services provided turnkey installation for the 12 MOBILEPAC units deployed by Mitsubishi Power Aero (formerly PW Power Systems) at the M’Sila Power Plant. Subsequently, Energy Services supplied and installed another 42 MOBILEPAC units for a total of 54 mobile units in Algeria. Quick, reliable, mobile power is especially important in emergency and fast-track situations. The MOBILEPAC units can operate in “island mode” when the main power supply is interrupted, thereby creating a micro grid.
