About Us

Energy Services was founded in 1974 by two visionary engineers to address the emerging need for turnkey installations of aero-derivative gas turbine plants. In 2001, Energy Services was acquired by United Technologies Corporation. Subsequently, Energy Services became a group company of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd., in May 2013, and transitioned to Mitsubishi Power in 2017.

With the financial backing of a large corporation and the flexibility of a small company, Energy Services provides EPC services to a wide range of customers and OEMs, offering single-point responsibility for the entire scope of a project. In addition to delivering a complete power generating plant, Energy Services repowers existing plants with newer technology, designs and manufactures customized balance of plant equipment, maintains and ensures plant reliability on the back end of a project, and offers turnkey battery storage.
